How to Use Precise Triggers
A quick guide to installing and using the app.
Precise Triggers fires monday.com automations at the exact date and
time stored in a DateTime column — within 60 seconds of the target
moment, instead of a daily automation window.
Installation
- From the monday.com marketplace, click Install.
- Authorize the requested permissions (read/write boards, send
notifications, manage webhooks).
- Open any board, click + Add view, and choose
Precise Triggers.
Creating your first trigger
- Pick a DateTime column — the column whose value
decides when the automation fires.
- Choose an action — Change status, Notify a person, or
Send a webhook.
- Configure the action — e.g. the target status, the
person to notify, or the webhook URL. Optionally add an
"only run if" condition based on a status column.
- Create the trigger. The app immediately schedules a
job for every item with a future date in that column.
How it stays in sync
- When someone changes a DateTime value, the trigger
reschedules automatically.
- When the value is cleared, the scheduled job is cancelled.
- Past dates are skipped (never fired retroactively).
Monitoring
- Create — set up new triggers.
- Monitor — upcoming triggers and execution history with
success/failure badges.
- Overview — KPIs, charts, and your monthly usage.
- Triggers — manage existing triggers (pause, resume,
edit, delete, bulk actions).
Plans & usage
Your plan includes a monthly allowance of fired automations (Trial 25 /
Starter 500 / Pro 5000 per month). The allowance resets at the start of each
month. Scheduling triggers is free — only fired automations count toward the
limit.
